New Aston Martin Facility opens at St Athan, Wales

Today Aston Martin's manufacturing facility at St Athan in Wales was officially opened by the First Minister of Wales, Rt Hon Mark Drakeford AM who joined Aston Martin Lagonda President and Group CEO, Dr Andy Palmer at the opening ceremony. St Athan is the home of Aston Martin’s first SUV, the DBX, and will become the home of electrification for the brand.

Upon the commencement of full production at St Athan in the second quarter of 2020, the company will have created up to 750 new highly-skilled jobs.
